Resolve ‘a script error has occurred on this page outlook 2007’ Error
Microsoft Outlook is used to store data in Personal Folder i.e. PST file. It is a central data base that is used to store different data like email, notes, tasks, contact, calendar & others. Being so important it also gets corrupted and after this entire stored data becomes inaccessible. However the recovery of lost or inaccessible data is must otherwise you will never be able to access important data.
To understand this while opening the MS Outlook 2007 PST in MS Word and then saving it in its format. In this situation the PST file icon would have changed to Word. But the changed PST file will not open and if you will try it again and again then it will show script error messages as discussed below:
‘ An error has occurred in the script on this page 'Get Software >>>>>
Due to this issue Outlook mails and other items would become inaccessible and inplace of opening the page it will report A script error has occurred on this page
The most known factors for this error to arise includes –- Outlooks PST file corruption due to application signature conflict of outlook & word
- As the file extension is changed, it is not recognized by outlook
Get Software >>>>>
So it becomes important to resolve the error problem in Outlook and for this the problem needs to be verified. For this click on the file select rename option and then specify the extension as .pst. This is specially done for ‘hide extensions for know file types' should be unchecked, if presently checked. After this try to access the file, but in case this does not resolve the problem then try inbuilt Inbox Repair Tool or Scanpst.Exe tool to resolve the problem. But when the corruption is severe then this inbuilt tool fails to resolve the corruption problem because of its limitation. Here you are required to use third party Outlook PST Repair Tool. This tool has powerful algorithm that performs advanced scanning and then repair corrupted .pst file and restores entire deleted or inaccessible data.
