Fix Broken Outlook PST File!

Open up explorer and then browse down to the following folder for Outlook 2007:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12

Or one of these folders for Outlook 2003 and earlier versions -

C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Mapi\1033

C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033

After finding the inbuilt utility, find the PST file to be scanned by clicking the ‘Browse’ button of the utility. Scan the file and get the report which contains the information of whether the PST file has errors or not. If the PST file contain errors then repairing of the files need to be done and for that click ‘Repair’ button and repair the PST file. After completion of PST repairing get the ‘Repair Complete’ message. It is a good habit to scan the PST file at regular intervals to avoid data loss and at the same time backing up of PST file is also important.
